Flipping Freezing

So as we arrived we embarked upon the ever familiar quest to find our accommodation. As we followed the little man on google maps (I feel like he deserves a name) we walked down a very, eh..., dodgy street. I didn't care though I just wanted to get there it was so hot, like burning hot.

As the distance got shorter and shorter we finally got there but, to my horror, it was a butcher shop. A butcher shop! I told Alona to check the map and she said this is defiantly it. We then saw there was a little door and a sign with the name of the hotel on it. I told her that there was a famous film where the hairdresser chops your head off and makes it into pies! But she said she was sure that we wouldn't get murdered. The heat was getting so bad I just agreed. We walked up the spooky stairs I was thinking that this is a depressing way to go.

We reached the desk and the lady asked us something but we didn't understand. Do you speak English, I asked? She replying then shouted something. I thought that maybe she was saying get the axe they are here, time to make some pie!

A little boy appeared and to my relief there was no axe. He took our passports and wrote our details down the then gave us our key and pointed up some more stairs. Off we went. It was a small room but thank god it had air-con. As we put it on as cold as it would go while we went out for a quick explore and then when we got back we had a beer and we slowly fell asleep. Beacuase it was so hot I wore my pyjamas shorts and a vest top. It was fantastic with the cold air.

As I woke up in the morning I thought I was going to die. It was like a deep freezer for some reason and I had a towel over me. (Thanks Alona for trying to save my life) as I looked over at Alona she had 2 towels over her, a hoodie and a few other things. Her attempt at saving me wasn't so valiant after all!!  I was directly under the aircon too.

I told her to turn it off as I had frozen to the bed. It's stuck she told me. It's not working. I could barely move it was like my arms had frozen in place. Let go, Alona told me, as we got dressed and told the lady it was broken. We were hit with a horrific 35 degrees when we went outside. Not fun.
