Keeping It Together
We had spoke to our accommodation and they had told us that 3 hours is too early to go to the airport but we insisted that we needed to be early. They laughed and told us it was too much time but again we insisted that we need to be early. So they arranged a car to come collect us at 5am. As we got up and packed we headed out though the little metal door and waited for the car. A man approached us and shouted ''No worries my dad will be here in 5 minutes!'' and drove off again. How do they always know where there family members are at all times?
As the second car arrived we got in. Alona being a top lad in the front seat
Off we went there was people drinking coffee all along the streets and everyone was just hanging about. As we drove up to the airport it was completely dark.
It dawned on us it was shut!

Mabye we should have listened when we were told we would be too early. As we sat down on a bench Alona had a smoke. There was a few other people there who were all speaking German. We laughed as we knew they also feel the same time pressures as us. I was a little worried as we were due to fly in 2 hours. Eventually the door opened and we went inside. Nothing was open and there was no lights on.
Was creepy
Alona looked so depressed so I told her would get some food when the airport opens. We set up camp on the floor and wrote a few bits. After a while everything started to open. Alona looked like she had been shot in a war! So we went and got a sandwich after we checked in through security. Alona beeped and got her clothes swabbed for drugs but her bag was ok. As we got onto the plane we both went to sleep. I slept the whole plane journey but looked at Alona's wee depressed face and she told me she hadn't slept at all because of the terrible turbulence. She told me people had been gasping and things because it was so bad. Her face was looking a bit like it was hanging off her skull and she had large black cicrles under her eyes.
You wouldn't think she had been on holiday for a week, eh?
We got into Buadpest and we were half way home. We got the metro to where the bus was meant to be. Due to roadworks or something the bus stop was in a new place and as we exited the metro and we were meet with a down pour. We didn't take jackets with us (as I said we never pack right) and we had to rearrange our bags as I didn't have a bag cover. I gave her my laptop in exchange for some dirty clothes. She defo got the better end of that deal.
As we found out where the bus stop was going to be we went for a beer. I know it was a long day but Alona held up like a trooper.
Was great craic
I got her a shot to keep her going then we headed though the pouring rain to the bus and we waited. It didn't come. Time came and went and I think we had got the stop wrong. The next bus wasn't till 5pm it was currently 1pm. Guess who was super happy! We headed to the main bus station to get a new ticket and find some shelter. We had two more beers but there wasn't really anywhere to sit so we sat on 2 spindly chairs half covered from the rain and drank our beers. It was freezing and I was starting to get super cold and Alona said she was fine so we swapped jumpers. As it came time to get on the bus we waited in the rain. A different bus came first then another one after that, poor Alona was fading fast.
As we got onto the bus we tried to sleep but the bouncy road stopped us. Finally after I think 2 hours we got into to Bratislava - only 5 mins till we are home! Once we go in we unpacked our bags and got ready for bed. Then to my horror Alona put her head in her hands and said I might cry. Jesus, normaly I am the dramatic one. What? The charger had broke and both our phone were dying. I set my alarm in the hope it would go off. At 6 am I awoke to my alarm. Alona's phone had died so she got up too even though she wasn't in till ten.
